That should work fine. All you're doing is copying the music files onto the USB and then on to the other computer, right?

Sorry let me clarify, I'm @ BB in SLC. There is just me here, well my chair and me. At 4PM they give you a ticket so you don't have to wait in line for the last hour. So stupid.

Do they have a clue on stock? Best Buy in SLC may be a good backup if the Gateway gets too overrun.

I like the idea of the air but I wouldn't touch one until they get a modern CPU in there. Core 2 Duo doesn't cut it in 2011.

It does for those of us who want an extremely light and small laptop running OS X but don't care a fig for specs. I would contend that there are many such people.

I had my previous battery for about 4 years. I replaced it with a Nupower battery when I started getting charges of up to 88% and it would die in about an hour. I went with Nupower (bc I don't like to give Apple my money) and they advertise 5% more battery life. I have been unable to get it to charge to 100%. It stops at 99% and lasts about 2 and a half hours of just regular internet reading (no special programs, videos, etc...). I am wondering if I have a defective battery and if it should last longer?

    Here is more info:

Completely misleading. iPad runs a mobile OS that's much less CPU intensive. The iPad is not five times slower in performing everyday tasks like web browsing, e-mail, word processing, etc.

It has a built in sound processor to create the 7.1. It only has a usb connection. Heres a link to it.

    http://store.razerzone.com/store/razerusa/en_US/pd/productID.169420200/parentCategoryID.35096300/categoryId.40856100

I can do 7.1 with games, VLC, and the Audio Midi Setup in utilities. But for some reason iTunes doesn't recognize it as a divice it can play surround through. Even though the mac itself seems to understand it... Thanks.

The iPhone4 on Verizon will make Apple so much more money that the stock will move up a lot more. I am already counting my money.

my ipad2 came with 4.3 and i never updated. now that 4.3.2 is out, can i update to 4.3.1 somehow and still save the shsh blob from that?

No need to have 4.3.1 installed on your iPad to save SHSH for it, just download TinyUmbrella (google for it), and save all avaiable SHSH.

This is awesome news, again it's brilliant because it states the iPhone 5 will be the same size as the iPhone 4, when I was at The Gadget Show Live on Friday I looked at all the new phones, the Galaxy S 2, the new Motorola and LG's the Xperia Play and Arc, the Nokia E7 (beautiful industrial design BTW) and I compared them all to my iPhone 4 and they were all MASSIVE and I mean MASSIVE next to the iPhone. And as for Acer's 4.8" beast........ I saw that too and thought it was a PDA or mini computer, not a smart phone!!:eek:

Does it have a self-assigned IP when it drops out?
If so, try renaming your wireless network. This has fixed this issue a number of times for me recently.

No, it picks up its IP number from the Linksys just fine. And it keeps the wireless connection fine. For example, I can access the Mini from my MacBook Pro with screensharing just fine ... even after the Mini looses its internet connection.

    Like I said, a strange problem ...

My 3GS is still like new, and I'll keep it until it starts sucking. I'm on 3.1.2 jailbreak, so I have all the features I like and want. I also am one of those people that doesn't recharge until it dies completely, so the battery still lasts two days at a time, unless they update Angry Birds. Then it dies pretty quick while I 3-star everything. (:

I thought Congress had made it a law that carriers provide you the unlock code, once your contract had been fulfilled? Whatever happened to this?

Was there ever mentioning if it was c0mex's userland exploit that was patched in 4.3.1 or was it some other exploit on the kernel side that was patched. Cause technically if it was an kernel exploit he can use i0n1c's to jailbreak up to 4.3.2.

At some point arn may decide to drop the ratings or replace them with some other form of news story feedback but there's nothing about to change at the moment.

As it says in the FAQ, the ratings mean different things to different people. Some people simply like to rate threads, so the feature is provided for them.

If there's significance to be found in the results I think it would be from comparing one article's ratings to another, not from trying to determine exactly why people rated a story one way or the other.
