i decided to go ahead and buy a current edition MBA....I think the only thing that I want in a new release would be thunderbolt as that could be amazingly useful especially since laptops nowadays don't have express card slots anymore except the 17"....
Todays model is a great value especially refurbished and will last years for its purpose...

I have a 50x50 vinyl banner of the moon landing, apparently this is much sought after, however I cannot find any record of one being sold. The only posters i can find are the long/slim ones. Mine is completely square. It is authentic i know that for a fact, its been in my possession for many years now and i personally took it down from the ceiling where it hung.

Like I said, unfortunately it may not be isolated to DP2 ... which is more annoying since that means it's probably an iTunes/iOS bug :(
Oh my bad, I thought it was only happening on your 10.7 machine. If it is happening on your other machines I would think an iTunes bug.

Ive let it run down completely a couple times before but i havent had any visible changes. I could try lowering the brightness and turning off the push notifications. It still should'nt go down 5% battery for just a facebook update.

and ramp that puppy up another 2GB.

right -- just tried 2-3 different ways to get some qt streams. indeed, i got a couple stations playing classical music (WGBH Boston, WCPE), but all the selections that were always there in the past are gone, e.g. npr, cnn, abc, bbc etc. either an error (-2129) on trying to open, or the blurb about channel selection having changed, please update your existing software. i have tried to update, and i assure, there are no updates available.

Make sure you securely wipe the drive before you give it away. If its an SSD, you need to encrypt the volume before wiping it. Otherwise a 7 way random re-write should do the trick. (It will take a while to perform.)

Yeah, the list of things it works well on is quite narrow. There is a google spreadsheet with compatibility somewhere. I was under the impression retina pad was far superior but I never bought it. Also moved to another app that was native ipad for the app I wanted to make fullscreen.
