Hello,
I have heard of Objective-C++ and I would like to know if this is possible in Objective-C++. Can I create IBActions that link to buttons and inside these actions I have C++. For example
-(IBAction)buttonClicked:(id)sender{
//Some C++ code
}
Would something like that work. I would like to do this because I physics engine I would like to use requires C++ and I would like to use this engine inside of a nice Cocoa app with all the interface stuff done in Objective-C.
Sincerely,
Blake

Macs start region free but lock to the first region you use.
You can, however, change it up to five times.

Well, I have two Region 2 DVDs I want to watch so I suppose that'll do...

iOS 4.3.3 is better than 4.3.2 for me in regards to battery life. I've even re-JB my iP4, and the battery life has remained pretty decent so far...
Thanks for the report. I've been having amazing battery life after upgrading from 4.2.1 to 4.3.2 and setting up as a new phone. Since I'm jailbroken and very happy with it, though, I suppose I'll keep with this and continue seeing how others are reporting iOS 4.3.3 battery performance.

I have an apple sticker on my car. I'm thinking of getting license plates that say FF0000 since my car is bright freaking red. I'm aware that very few people will get this. :cool:
that would be awesome.

Thanks. I Mroogled but didn't get that one. Consensus seems that unless using MASSIVE amounts of RAM then booting in 64 bit is pointless.

I can open the exr files in photoshop, but I would have thought there is a way to convert them to adobe .DNG at least?
I've tried saving them out from photoshop into .psd or .tiff (32 bit float?) but aperture doesn't like either as they are 32 bit. Ideally I need to change them to .dng files to work with properly.
I would have thought this is possible?

for a marketing guy he's doing really well. he's in a company that consistently values the idea of product marketing so much so that he gets quite a lot of face time during product launches. when was the last time you saw Dell, HP, Sony or any other consumer tech company's marketing exec come out and publicly say something?
also, as someone mentioned above, the highest paid positions are often finance and operations related due to the fact that CEOs are culled from the two departments. the general, and often mistaken, way of thinking is that a company survive without marketing and advertising... but knock out either finance or operations, you have a gimped company.

Ability to do pretty much whatever you want.
Majority of people install basic themes and useful patches that make the device better. However this is still fun and makes the iPod a little more fun.
Others do it to illegally download applications from the app store
I Jailbreak for fun, and I do like to design and play around with themes.
Best thing to do, is Jailbreak it and then see what you enjoy doing. try it out for yourself

I'm not. Have you used the Samsung Galaxy S?? It's an amazing phone. I haven't used an iPhone 4, but it's similar enough to the iPhone 3Gs (with the new iOS) that I doubt a "test drive" of an iPhone 4 would convince me otherwise.
The iPad does deserve its award though. :) One reason is because there isn't any real competition for it at the moment. The other reason is because it's a good product.

Sorry, your original question was just on where are the backup files located. That's what I answered. I didn't realize you were looking to browse their contents.

Yeah they don't come from Apple with a cell number.. You have to set that up with AT&T or Verizon (whichever carrier is for your iPad).

Picked up Other M ($24), Donkey Kong Returns ($44 - no real discount), Kirby Epic Yarn ($40 - no real discount) and Fall Out Vegas ($34, 360).
Also, bought a Kinect (no discount), but will probably return it since I apparently don't have enough space in my room to use it. :rolleyes: Amazon has all the Kinect games for $10 off.
Amazon had the God of War Collection for $10 and Ratchet and Clank 2 for $10, but I didn't bite. Wal-Mart has Little Big Planet for $20 (Ship to Store).

I played through the entrie PS3 version of Dragon Age : Origins.
The framerate is choppy and especially through cut scenes. The updates didn't improve performance and there was a thread over on bioware's forum demadning a performance patch. It never materialised.
I choose PS3 version for the better textures, but admit there was plenty of occasions when the frame rate dropped down to 10-20fps that i would have gladly traded textures for smooth gameplay.
Having played the demo of the sequel on both 360 and ps3 version of the sequel, I'm going for the 360 version as it again seems smoother and visually they look identical this time round other than framerate.

After the DP2 update, all Quicktime movies won't play.
Even the gesture videos in System Preferences won't show.
Does anyone have the same problem? :confused:

So I bought a wireless mouse, but I would like to return it. I was wondering:
1) Is it okay to return the item without packaging? I have everything else that came with the mouse.
2) Is it okay to return an item I purchased from one Best Buy to another Best Buy? I bought the mouse from a store that is 2 hours away...
I have the receipt and payed with credit card.
Thanks guys.

Heads up, mall security is not letting people bring chairs due to fire code. At first they weren't even letting people sit on the floor but are now. Pretty dumb in my opinion.

If you needed to buy parts, this place isn't too bad. Although free is nice if you got spare things lying around.

A reformat and redo of the JB may not be a bad idea. Try it, before you go with the turbo sim.
