May be a good idea to describe what these are -- photos, links?
They are a set of great studio monitors. If you're into a little home recording, you can't do much better for the money.

I have my credit card out and ready to purchase a new iMac but I don't know if now is a good time. If I buy the iMac now and Lion comes out in say 2 months will I be required to purchase Lion at full price if I want it? I know with PC's they always advertise with the purchase that you can upgrade to the new OS at no charge. Thanks for the help!
Yes you pay full price.
So you buy now and pay up to another $100 in July if you want or wait. Simple as that.
Might not be July could be August or later. And price could be much less if it delivered through app store given the discounts Apple has on its other software offered via the app store.

Hi all,
I have over 250 posts and I've been an active member since but I don't have access to the marketplace. Does anyone know why this could be?
Thanks!
George

What error message (if any) are you seeing?
(Sorry if you understood this part) Categories are automatically generated if a [[Category:foo]] tag is found out in the regular articles. The only thing you can edit directly in a category is some introductory information that will appear above the lists of articles and categories.
So, to add Category:Storage to Category:Third-Party Hardware, you would add the link [[Category:Third-Party Hardware]] anywhere inside the [[Category:Storage]] page.
Does that answer your question, or am I misunderstanding what's happening to you?

don't you just plug your camera / card reader into your computer to import? the process should be the same for stills and video.
are you saying your not using imovie 09 but an earlier version that doesn't support AVCHD? google will provide the specs/ability of each imovie version.

AH, Jetpac!
Many an hour as a child hunched over my Spectrum 128K keyboard.
Still have the cassete from 1983.
Recorded twice on each side!, and proper hard plastic glass.

Hi all,
Just wondering, you know those CD/DVD protectors they have so you won't scratch your discs? I don't see any reason why they shouldn't be, but I was just wondering, are they OK to use in the slot loading drives? Or is Apple not thrilled with these things...?
Thanks,
-John
Apple specifically states in the manuals to not use the clip on extenders that make a mini (4cm?) CD into a regular sized CD. The reason is that if the CD unclips the combination can easily jam in superdrive.
I noticed the clip on CD protectors the other day and I would expect that they have the same risk. As far as I know these protectors are relatively new and may not yet be on Apple's radar. But as a previous poster mentioned, the superdrive (and pretty much any slot loading drive) has tight tolerances so using anything that results in a thicker/different shape than a standard CD or anything that has the potential of coming loose from a CD should be avoided. (Technically you should not be using a CD with a stick-on label in a slot-loading drive.)

I remember finding that the legend tag is very hard to do extensive styling on, and get cross-browser compatibility. I ended up giving up on whatever fanciness that I had been trying. The browsers simply implemented the specifics of how styles effect the legend tag very differently. It's one case where I find it OK to go slightly off semantic HTML if you really want a specific look.

I'm sure this has been asked before but I need current info on current products. What are some good Time Capsule alternatives?
I have a 27" iMac with a 2TB hard drive and currently have no external backup/storage solution. I think the Time Capsule is overpriced and I don't need its wireless base station functionality. I just want to be able to back everything up neatly and efficiently to a 2TB external drive that is compatible with Time Machine.
Anybody know a model # or brand name that I should go with that you've either heard good things about or had personal experience with?

Good Day to all masters!
My jb ipad1 was mistakenly upgraded to 4.3.1 via itunes and could not access an apps which has data for our pregnancy workout of my wife.
Could I possibly restore from backup the data of the application which we need after jailbreak of 4.3.1. How is it done?
Please help me; data is very important for us and our doctor.
Thanks in advance

Hey everyone
Firstly sorry for annoying anyone in advance as i'm new to the jailbreak stuff.
I'm trying to JB with redsn0w from JB 4.01 to 4.3.2 and it's asking for the .IPSW file. Where is this file?
I've tried looking in appdata/roaming/apple computer/itunes.......the only folders there are /cookies and /itunes plug-ins.
I'm using windows 7, any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Jamie

What is up with the Listeners2?
You can define the port on the existing listener. For example:
<key>Sockets</key>

There's nothing wrong... I get the same temperature.
You do know that the mbp will shut itself down in case something bad happens?
Dont worry about it. Just play. You wont get significant changes with any cooler. I have a chilldesk mini XL that plugs in the usb port (and you can plug another usb item into the cooler) and while it's very handy for the lap, as a stand and is cheap, I'm not getting more than 3-4 degrees celcius.
Your mbp is build to handle the high temps. Enjoy it!

I need some advice. I just heard about the 2012 Macbook Pros getting a new design. Should I wait and buy the 2012 macbook pro or just get one now? Do you think it's worth the wait???
Also, I know the 2011 models have basically just been released, but has there been any word on what the 2012 macbook pros might have?
