An RGB Scart cable will give you the best picture possible from the console itself. How well the TV handles the signal and the actual picture quality is another matter entirely.
If you have an original MD and you want stereo, you'll need a Scart cable that has a seperate heahphone jack coming from it that plugs into the front of the console. The MD2 outputs stereo from it's AV port so it's much neater. It's quite simple to build your own (http://www.gamesx.com/avpinouts/genesisav.htm).

I would create a new account on your computer so that there's a separate iTunes Library for your friend's phone. You don't want to plug the phone into your account with your Library or your iTunes may overwrite your friend's phone.

It's still a bootloader. Some are trying for insane prices for them, others go with the market value. Whatever feels good to ya.

$200 is a great price for a starter that you can upgrade the heck out of if you want to. When you're ready you should have saved plenty of $$$ to get a new mac.

Use a privacy screen protector if you really need one, because they lower the image quality like if you stacked 3 matte shields on the screen.

For the Mac and the display that goes with it warranty wise, how much with shipping?
Depends on where in the country, but I'd imagine adding $100 for shipping UPS to most locations.
$3225 all inclusive

The B & W's top out at 1 GB of ram, not 1.5 (4 x 256 mb). And they also have the limit of 128 GB hard drives, unless you drive them with a 133 PCI IDE controller card that overrides this limitation (I believe virtually all of them do). You can also use a bigger drive with a software solution that is NOT recommended on the B & W because you must use the slower IDE bus to make it work (the motherboard has a 33Mhz bus and one half that speed, if I remember correctly). More info about the software to bypass the barrier:
http://www.speedtools.com/ATA6.shtml
The nice thing about a B & W is that you can put four hard drives in the thing with no fuss. One goes where the zip drive is/was. The other three along the bottom. You can hook the one by the DVD drive up to the same bus as the DVD drive and make it a slave and the DVD drive the master. Then you can hook up two to either an internal bus (master/slave) or a 133 card (two masters I think), and then the last one to a slave on the 133 card. Note that you don't have to have a 133 card. You can use a 66 Mhz card and simply stick with the 120 GB size. The 66 Mhz card will be very cheap on ebay (Acard is a good one).
Even if you only get a 66 Mhz card, you still can put 4 x 120 GB in the B & W. Do you really need more than 480 GB in a Blue and White anyway? 120 GB drives can be had new on ebay for between $50-$80.
Good luck.
EDIT: I just noticed that you are in Australia, which may make all my $$ estimates moot. It may be much more difficult and expensive to get the above mentioned parts there.

I agree i don't think they changed the logo completely. The logo may just have a more simplified appearance on Apple TV and on their website. The actual logo should always stay the same. It is one of, if not the best logos out there, so simply yet so beautiful, just like the design of each of their products.

Thanks for the reply robbieduncan. So I guess it's not allowed...
Well section 2.15 prevents you installing to any shared location. So that prevent you installing the .prefs bundle.

I remember finding that the legend tag is very hard to do extensive styling on, and get cross-browser compatibility. I ended up giving up on whatever fanciness that I had been trying. The browsers simply implemented the specifics of how styles effect the legend tag very differently. It's one case where I find it OK to go slightly off semantic HTML if you really want a specific look.

I like these, although I think the Giraffe would be better with some colour. I love the first two though, how long did they take?

Also, if you're with AT&T, they give you the option of making the change to your account immediately or wait until your next billing cycle begins.

I've had a few weird issues lately:
Logging into account--begins to log in, see desktop, menu bar and dock load, but then screen goes blue and logs me back out to login screen automatically. Have to login again. Also had a kernel panic when waking from sleep to login window. I had Winswitch and JewelCase installed (iTunes was in starup items), I removed them and that hasn't happened since.
On a recent login updating prebinding took 15 minutes
Some app quits (not many), but Quicktime and Preview take long time to open now out of nowhere...
While using Illustrator yesterday I noticed that my minimized windows and my Illustrator dock icon were to the right of the trash, I couldn't move them to the left. I tried relaunching the Finder several times, but no go...had to restart.
In Photoshop, if I click from a photoshop window to a finder window quickly the finder window disappears...
Now I have repared permissions, disk, run cron scripts, reset NVRAM and PRAM, run fsck, and run techtool pro and apple hardware test
None of these problems existed before I added a gig of RAM from Crucial, so do these sound like RAM issues, if so, then why do the hardware tests and techtool pro say RAM is ok? And if it is the RAM, then why are the problems not frequent?
Thanks.

iMovie '11 can deal with AVCHD files, but it converts them to the AIC (Apple Intermediate Codec) format for editing. I've found that iMovie's conversion significantly softens the image, so I use VoltaicHD to convert AVCHD to AIC; iMovie then can edit the resulting AIC file natively.
If FCPX natively supports AVCHD, so much the better.

I have a Powerbook 170 in mint condition, with original power supply and some cables. It is lacking a battery, however. If I were to sell it, how much should I expect to get? If I were to sell, I'd like to get as much as possible, to further upgrade some other Macs I have.
Also, How much can I expect to get from an iMac G3?
Specs: G3 500MHz 256mb RAM 20 gb HD, cd burner.

General price on eBay seems to be around 225 for a pristine one, although if selling on here, I'd expect a little less.
