Yeah, I did that, and it had already been unchecked. They're still not working even with that unchecked.

if you dont care about unlock, you can buy iphone 4 for full price 599/699 without contract from AT&T. i think you can only do this by going to an at&t store and prove that you are already an at&t costumer.
That's not much less that we pay for a factory unlocked phone up here from the Apple stores. I'm guessing OP is not in Canada, though.

A cropped pic of the St. Louis Science Center Planetarium in its patriotic display of red, white, and blue (I only took a shot of the blue). I see this many times when I drive down hwy 40/64 next to Forest Park. I know there are a couple St. Louis forum members who know what I'm talking about.

I think there is a setting to determine how much CPU you want F@H to use 0-100%. At 100%, things start cooking.
I would never fold on a laptop in the first place, the heat and the fans just scare me.
It is my company work laptop, and I hate it. It has been nothing but trouble since day one, but it's never had a serious enough problem to warrant them replacing it with a new one. I'm hoping folding at home will solve diseases AND destroy this POS :)

Incase you wanted to know I found the stand for you, its called the book arc by 12 south. It includes a "cable management system" basically a usb and mDP connector for one side of the MBA. Check out their other products they are pretty cool :)
I dont think I would call the bookarc a dock. The point of a dock is to organize connections and power so that you can pop the computer in and out.
The arc is a stand that you have to wire up each time.
Not that its not cool, but its way overpriced for what it does...

I can see the Password feature being useful to some people, but this requires you use this software continually.
The Defrag feature may be the best thing, but I guess you would need to use it every so often to maintain the drive in check. It would be interesting to see how if any actual improvement can be noticed...

We maintain a few computer labs where I work and have some Macs on an Active Directory (AD) domain. The users (mainly students) log in and have their home folder on the network (via smb). It works great; users can take their environment with them wherever they log in and all that jazz.
Is anyone else running such an environment, and have you tried Lion yet? With the way Apple is moving (app store, OS more geared to the consumer) I wonder if these features will remain, or if there are problems integrating Lion into such an environment.
We love the flexibility OS X accords us; we can set up individual machines to either create local home folders for AD users, or use the network home directories, as well as lock down the machines pretty well.
I have not tested in an AD domain, but my understanding is SAMBA is being replaced (http://www.appleinsider.com/articles/11/03/23/inside_mac_os_x_10_7_lion_server_apple_replaces_samba_for_windows_networking_services.html) with Apple's implementation of it.
Using the NT domain controller will not be an option either. Active Directory only. I am not in an enviroment to test for you. Sorry.

I hope they plan this better than the Jay-Z concert. The outfield looked horrible afterwards.
Via Google maps which was taken soon after that concert.
Or was it the boxing match? Either way......

Hi guys,
The ACD 27" has 3 cables. a USB cable, displayport and also a magsafe.
So this might be a stupid questionnnn...
but once the ACD is plugged into the MacPro.. does the magsafe just hang there for no reason?
I know theyre primarily designed for the MacBook Pros.. but people who have iMacs and MacPros are left with an ugly hanging cable?
Must look pretty ugly.. its not like Apple at all..
from apple.com:
MagSafe connector.
The LED Cinema Display includes a MagSafe connector that powers and charges your MacBook, MacBook Pro, or MacBook Air. The connector sits on your desk, ready and waiting. No need to unwind the cord to the power adapter that came with your notebook. Leave it exactly where it is, in your bag.
There's nothing to charge in the MacPro server.

Got a loaded retail channel configuration 27" yesterday and I'm looking to upgrade the ram.
Not sure why Apple uses DDR3-1333 paired with a desktop Core-i7 but I assume we can use DDR3 1600 SODIMMs?
Also, just for anyone wondering, the system says SATA 6GBbps is the interface, while the Seagate drive runs at 3Gbps.

And it's the best iPod iv ever owned. I mean seriously what more can a casual listener ask for? Tiny, wearable and simple. It just plays music, and plays it really well. I think this is the perfect device for people who just want to listen to music and not have any of the videos, Internet, apps attached on to the device. It's just simple and to the point.
So yeah, iPod nano, must buy if all you want is a portable music player oh and also, EVERY SMALL IPOD SHOULD COME WITH A CLIP STANDARD, just having the clip there, something so simple really, REALLY adds to the product and makes it so 100x more useful!
Love it : )

A new Adium theme isn't exactly a new Mac app. Anyway, nothing can compete with the efficiency an style of the tl (http://www.adiumxtras.com/index.php?a=xtras&xtra_id=473) theme!

I'm using Safari 1.2 and OS 10.3.2 and I have the same issue. Although, sometimes, I don't get an invalid link but it links to the wrong song.

The items are not in the Apple Mouse/Keyboard boxes, as they came inside the PowerMac's box, but they are in their unopened plastic packaging.
