I've been looking at the lacie dvd burners and external HDs as well. Really like the F.A. Porsche design too. But alas, I've not yet taken the plunge. If you do, can you post a snippet about its performance? Thanks.

Good work!
Here's some all important functions i've come accross in my own RSS creation:
// convert timestamp to ISO8601 formatted date
function iso8601_date($time){
$tzd = date('O',$time);
$tzd = substr(chunk_split($tzd, 3, ':'),0,6);
$date = date('Y-m-d\TH:i:s', $time) . $tzd;
return $date;
}
// convert special chars to UTF-8 valid entities
function strictify ( $string ) {
$fixed = htmlspecialchars( $string, ENT_QUOTES );
$trans_array = array();
for ($i=127; $i<255; $i++) {
$trans_array[chr($i)] = "&#" . $i . ";";
}
$really_fixed = strtr($fixed, $trans_array);
return $really_fixed;
}

I have an older iMac (just before the intel chip) that I bought what must've been 5 years ago I guess along with an mbox2 and Pro Tools LE 6. I also have a small board that has 6 inputs I believe so I could use more than the 2 xlr inputs provided by the mbox2. I also have a keyboard that I was running in. Basically I bought this setup to record my sax playing, my wifes singing and my midi keyboard. I had it up and running one time and it seemed like could never get it going again. Now we are getting ready to purchase a 27" iMac i5 that we will use GB on for the time being but I really want to use the older iMac to use PT eventually since it was a really good setup at the time (not sure if it's still so today). Is there any good material that I can read up on that will assist with properly setting up the board to the mbox2 to the iMac as well as something that will help with understanding how to run that confounded application? I actually interned in a studio during a semester while in University (don't ask how that train got off the tracks) but they used an old 2" MCI (this was in the early 90s) so I don't understand the digital stuff so well but I think I have a pretty good knack for learning as long as I can see progress along the way.
Sorry for the long post. I appreciate your responses.

Argh. That logo still gets me down. Even after ThinkSecret explained it.
I still think it should look like this:

Nice ad though :)

Thankyou so much for the link, we will be trying that tonight! Just out of curiosity, do you have any ideas as to why this sort of thing happens or if there is anyway to avoid such things in future?
Nothing that you're doing causes it. There's nothing you need to do, other than follow the recommendations in the FAQ.

Updating the ram is a must. You will see a great performance boost. You might be a little slow with leopard, but if that's not a problem then you should upgrade.

Hi all!
I just got my refurbed MBA and it has the old spacebar!
I just read the article that states Apple upgraded the spacebar and that the new spacebar creates spaces 40mb/s faster!
Will I notice a difference in real world applications?
